Working on a video of a Spanish Medieval Village

I'm wondering if the volume levels on the audio couldn't be pulled back a smidgeon? How are the volumes levels on your VU meter in your editing program when it gets loud?

I don´t like to touch / modify the creation of another person but I have pulled up volumen at the begining of the song
