I own a mavic 3 drone (not the pro, not the classic,) it was a major improvement from my mavic 2 pro drone,
Things i love on my mavic 3:
+ Image quality
+ Very stable in winds
+ Battery ,-flying time

Things i hate:
- I often tend to loose gps signal , for example i have 20-22 sattelites and all of a sudden they drop to 12-10-5-2 and it turns to atti mode, this happens often and also when the drone is not far from me, no more than 100 meters away. I feel that the dji rc controller am using has less signal strength compared to the n1 controller, ofcourse this might be due to the country-area am flying , near middle east.
-- Point of interest , this is very frustrating as a lot of times it gets confused and is losing the point of interest and it just shifts to nearby spots
-- Still struggling with my exp settings, i haven't found the sweet spot yet, it will either rotate-move slowly and then accelerate fast or be very sensitive , i didn't find any middle ground ..compared to mavic 2 pro i found the mavic 2 pro much more smoother for cinematic moves when using the sticks

Since the mavic 4 is out now, i don't know if it worths upgrading from mavic 3? I use my drone professionally for paid jobs

This has nothing to do with your drone or controller or how far away the drone is.
It's all about GPS jamming in your vicinity.
Any drone will have the same issues.

We make the Wet Suits and Rescue Jackets to fly in the Rain an Land on the Water and have been watching all the reviews of the Mavic 4 Pro an the only real advantage of this drone that I can see is better Picture Quality . The Downside is that the Round Camera Design which I feel is not yet Proven itself , along with its tricks that I have no use for.

I am very curious to see if DJI sticks with the Round camera Design :

Vertical Tilt Limitations
Gimbal Glitches on any of the angles
Camera Shakes badly in the wind
Auto Reseting of the Camera when it gets overwhelmed.
and you have some lagging issue s

Auto focus problems on both cameras the 70 and 168mm not as big a issue as this can be corrected in post.

Than you have larger files codecs that need Adobe or Better to decode and render

H.264/H.265 6K footage slow to process and lacks Pro Res and you need detailed software and Computer Power

Because it has so much going on its a much longer start up process which can be annoying for Storm Chasers .

This Design needs to prove itself , and they need some updates which based on how few have sold , may not be coming anytime to soon .
