I have trued swapping control boards in the top end of the gimbal and risk tearing or bending pins bcuz the Yaw ribbon is a bear to connect and fragile. I can end up completely rebuilding a repaired, and with new parts gimbal only to end up with a failed calibration with Pthon.

So, what I wish to find are patch cables so I can set the gimbal on the bench and with a separated control board plug it all up, with patch cables and to include the cable from gimbal to drone, power on and observe that the gimbal dances first before worrying about calibration.

Reason? Swapping boards, and ribbon cables and installing the dampener means connecting the Yaw ribbon, and I don't want to keep doing that. Each time is one time it gets kinked, while maneuvering it into the plug.
You would think DJI could make this step more saffe and easy.

Hence, there must be patch cables or a test board that is laid out for input and output to connect to the freakin drone used with patch cables.

Where are MY PATCH CABLES?

I am going to attach a spare YAW motor to the short ribbon, and leave it dangle, while attaching the other two cables to the drone and board.

I hope the gimbal dies the dance, to just be a test that the board is working. Bcuz the problem is the gimbal doesn’t move on startup at all.

Dies anyOne know how to test a board up top inside the assembly?
