I've only had the MA2 two weeks. Here's the first good sunset. Taken from my backyard near Pittsburgh, PA.

Bring shadows up to 100.

Use gradient filter.

Use the "shadows" slider on the curve setting. Turn it up.





Use the letter "J" on your keyboard. It shows what is called "clipping" and will reveal what is too dark and what is too light.

Backslash shows before, backslash again to see after.

Thanks Cody, I appreciate the advice. I'm going out again this evening, hopefully we get another colorful sunset. You never know in western PA.

Make sure you are also shooting in RAW.

Manual mode. ISO100

Custom color temp, found in Camera settings (whatever looks good, it can be fixed later if needed)
