I had a similar situation this last fall. Kind of fun to be able to get above the fog and see the difference.

I'm sure with a graduated filter in post and hue shift you can make it whatever shade you like. The dark came more from the vignette more than anything. I plan on revisiting and we'll see what happens.

You can see from facing away, it's far more natural.

Haha thanks, yes it was. My girlfriend at the time lived under a transit route from an airforce base to a major exercise area. I always loved watching the Chinooks and Apaches passing by low!
