YouTube stuck on checking.

I tried to upload two videos tonight and when it got to the checking stage which usually only takes a few minutes its got stuck at "Checks still running" its been nearly an hour is anyone else having the same issue?

A few other people mentioned this at Downdetector.

It's apparently a very old and common issue. The fix seems to be to "just wait longer".

Found this on google looks like its going to take a while -

"All of my videos that are not shorts are stuck in "checks still running" due to a glitch and YouTube is going to have to escalate it to a specialist to get it fixed. That could take 24 hours"

When your pipeline gets stuck, call a plumber. If the first one can't get the job done, call another! Must have been a massive clog! LOL!
