A visual treat to film, but I have to admit it can't be quite as threatening as a firenado when you can just dust if off your shirt!

I enjoyed it on the day too Rhody, I was tempted to do a severe dive into the base at the rear but then chickened out as I wasn't sure what would emerge out of the ashcloud...or at what height!Wow, that was very cool.
Yeah, they get a lot bigger too of course but you can see it snap a couple of branches as it goes over a mulga tree, and mulga is an extremely dense and strong wood, so it has a little kick in it anyway.I liked it! Brought back memories of when I was a boy on the farm chasing what we called 'dirt devils'. Our goal was to get inside one. Did so many times. Pretty exciting and pretty dusty! Yours looked more powerful though.
Thanks Geoff, it was on the Mavic 3 Pro by the wayAwesome work Chris. Not many people would have seen this phenomenon and certainly not as well as your MA2 did with great editing.
