The Shield plugs into the Mavic remote, The Cinemizers plug into the Shield via mini HDMI cable

For the Mavic, is it worth the $780 price? Or will Fat Sharks and other VR goggles suffice?

Fatsharks will suffice...I used my Fatsharks until my wife bought me the Cinemizers for Xmas. Actually, I still use them for my FPV quads
