Anemometer Handheld Wind Speed Meter

Don't forget to line up the tilt indicator (in the "radar" screen) until they are level to easily see which direction the wind is blowing.

Actually, looking at the tilt in the radar view and the Mavic forward speed is usually enough to roughly know where the wind is blowing and how strong is the headwind (but not able to tell tailwind). If you are having tailwind in your outbound flight, turn around to see how strong is the headwind for your return flight, and decide how far away you can safely fly in that condition.

I am still learning, newbie but not completely inexperienced. I am away from drone for a couple of days. Not quite certain what you are saying but will research and ask questions if uncertain.
I may be accused of a lot of things but not asking questions is NOT one of them.
