Tried 2 phones now
Samsung galaxy note edge and Huawei ascend mate 7
App crashes on both devices but i still maintain full control..
Getting a bit cheesed off now
Thinking of trying Litchi.
Any ideas anyone??

My galaxy note4 and my Nvidia shield BOTH experienced app crashes while mid flight. After I got frustrated enough with android, I bought an IPad mini4 and couldn't be happier. No app crashes yet in 2 months of flying. (Knock on wood)

I went the same way as frankiez - moaning and kicking and bought an iPad 4. Rock solid, and video in general more responsive and smooth, and there are a few small touches here and there that are better. The simulator is even better.

With my android devices, I always had the possibility of the video breaking up or freezing, and losing telemetry on the screen, though the RC controller itself never let me down. Now I can think about flying this marvelous bird, and not about the software failing.

Close ALL other apps on your android devices before you fly.
Have DJIGo auto Launch by plugging the USB cable into the side of the RC. Then select DJIGo when prompted.
That is what I suggest you try.
