Best Buy Orders

As the date creeps closer to my "Nov 29" receive by date, I'm having less and less confidence it will actually show. Doesn't seem like bestbuy is having any movement and are pretty low on the food chain with DJI.

Lets hope that they have been slowly receiving stock and are waiting to ship them all out on their release day...

I lost hope after they didn't deliver by the 30th of October, and then quoted the 29th of November when no one else had a release date. I felt that there was no choice but to wait for Best Buy, but now that we have other options (P4P), I'm ordering direct from DJI. Estimated ship time for P4P is 1-2 weeks, but I'm willing to bet I'll still receive it before Best Buy ships any Mavic Pros.

Stopped by apple store in sugar land, tx (suburb of houston) this morning. Asked specialist to check if they have any mavics in stock or being unloaded. He said that he could see that propellers were being unloaded. He took my name and said he would hold and call me if they had one. 30 minutes later, received a call... they were holding the only mavic that just came in for me. i just got back home from picking it up.

one thing he told me was that if apple has less than 5 (five) of anything in store, inventory will show as unavailable.

i'm cancelling my best buy order.

I just had almost the exact same thing happen in Denver. Pretty exciting!

I had a similar experience at the Aventura Apple Store Miami. I was randomly checking the website and one popped up at that store. I then proceeded to purchase for store pick up and by the time I got my information in it was gone. So I called the store and spoke to the manager and he told me yes they had some but they were gone. I then received a call about 45 minutes later from the manager stating they had one there for me and they were holding it. He got my phone number from the caller ID when I called him. They had found it and it hadn't been checked in yet. That was a very nice thing for the store manager to do considering I don't even know him. I then drove an hour from West Palm Beach down to Miami and I now have my Mavic!

Update on my BB order status. Sept. 28th order was Nov. 23 release date. Now is Dec.31. My Oct 7th order has now changed to 'cancelled' ??? Not even going to ask. Maybe just wait till they are in store.

That sucks. I just checked mine and ordered much later than you 10/23 and it was still "processing" with a deliver by 11/29.

Checked mine as well. It is still stating Nov 30th and I ordered it sep 28th. Maybe it will gradually all change to Dec time frame :/

That wil likely change around the 28th. Mine changed 4 times.

Just ordered one from the same place I got my P3P special bundle last year. Shipping date there is Dec. 1st. What the heck, worth a try. Sent them an email to ask how firm they are on that date. Will see what happens next

FYI to anyone in/near NYC....my friend went and picked his up from the 5th Ave Apple Store late last night around 10pm and the employee told him that they have 20 more in stock, even though the online inventory says none. May be worth stopping in the store personally if you're in the area and looking for one. That store is open 24/7 too

Oh, and I'm cancelling my BB order to since I got mine. Hopefully that helps some of you guys.

No, and I am not going to call them (yet again). Will be cancelling the other one as well. A week ago they told me that they acknowledged that they had them in stock when I placed my order. However, due to a discrepancy in their system, they are now OUT OF STOCK. When I pointed out it was PreOrder (not released yet) could they please explain, I got the same info back. Then yesterday it shows up cancelled. Maybe they got p**d off because I called them out on their mis-information? It is not the delays I am upset about, it is the treatment I am getting from them. I will not buy anything from Best Buy again. There are other options.
