I also have a problem with my mavic, I try to update the firmware and it keeps failing anyone know how to help??

When i try to fly my mavic before the flight it says to update firmware on dji go 4 app and then i do the update but it fails each time

is this the 1st time u are updating fw in your mavic?

yes this the first time Im installing the firmware

it fails around the last percentages of the download for example 73% or 93%

try with another smartphone if u can
sounds like your smartphone having issues downloading big files
u can also update fw using dji assistant 2 for pc
look it up on dji's site

Wow, this video answered my questions perfectly! Thank you for posting the link! Because I had the same concerns as many others - I live in an area of no cell service, and the majority of my flights where there are no restrictions (airports close by, etc) are very rural areas without cell service. It's good to know that I can still fly without restrictions simply by logging in to DJI Go 4 prior to leaving a cell service area and still be good to go.
