The Penultimate Highland Drone video today, the high level overpass of Dun Troddan Broch, taken on the 3rd day of our recent Drumnadrochit holidays.

The local area to Dun Troddan has no Drone signs and - as warned by another drone flyer - the people in the small holding next door are very anti-drone, so although Take Off and Landing (TOAL) is not possible on site, there are no laws stopping overflight, so I took off from further away and overflew at height, maintaining Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) and keeping the drone noise to a minimum.

While we were overflying Lee and a friend were talking a walk at the Broch, and were approached by a person from the smallholding about the drone - even though at 200feet it is almost inaudible and not illegal to fly there - as long as timings for EGR610 Low Flying zone are checked first.

Anyhow, a short video to document the area and the broch...

Tomorrow is the final video from the trip, although I may do a showreel or two to highlight some of the footage to use on YT as an intro...
