Gimbal thrashes around and goes nuts after start up

Already made the call sending it back.... I'm not dealing with this nonsense anymore..... I highly doubt a firmware upgrade is going to change that... plus already upgraded three different firmwares same issue.

Sending it back is the best you could do. My guess is that the ribbon cable is bad or not seated properly. Good luck!!

So just an update, today I finally received a completely new replacement Mavic (I was under the impression they were going to just fix the gimbal issue). Update to the latest firmware .700 (fingers crossed) and no issues, the gimbal calibrated properly (as did the IMU & compass) At start up the gimbal went through its motions, but this time it was smooth and without the violent thrashing that you see in the videos from my initial post. Took it up for a few flights and so far so good.....just have to get my settings back, since the update wiped everything back to default.

The turn around time from the moment I sent it back to the day UPS delivered it was exactly a month...I live on the East coast...was sent to the West coast..it got there in 3 days but it took them 3 1/2 weeks to ***** the damage, and send a replacement...
