Goggles only playback 1080 or lower

Ok so just another observation but the goggles will only playback 1080 or less video once you insert the sd card, so any footage you shoot in 4k cannot be viewed in the goggles, bit of a let down lol!!

That would explain why I had a card full of 4K video shot on my Mavic and it wouldn't show any files. Thanks for that good bit of info!

Luckily I had a mix of 1080 and 4k from fiddling about with the goggles and only the 1080 showed up for my viewing pleasure lol

Seems logical consider the screen isn't 4K.

You would think it would just scale down the video to 1080p. Is it a limitation of the cpu in goggles?

Amazing really, not long ago 1080 was the pinnacle, now we want 4K. SD saves in 4k if you want.
I remember the days of 1 GB even less.
How times have changed.

I remember how excited I was when I was able to drop $100 dollars for a 512MB SD card to load apps on my palm pilot.
