Google Maps vs Here WeGo Maps

I haven't flown enough times with my Mavic yet to notice anything different with the maps on my iphone 6 and ipad mini 2.

I've read somewhere where some people have HERE as there maps and others have GOOGLE. How can I find out which one my DJI Go 4 app is using?

I believe the last app to use Google Maps was v3.0.1. All other versions since then now use Here Maps. I am keeping my fingers crossed they move back to Google Maps though.

The version that uses the Here map also doesn't keep your quad copter 's location centered on the map (it doesn't track the quad). I don't like that so I use the earlier version.

Yep, no scrolling maps is a PIA for sure, I am hoping it is just a glitch with the new service. Having your quad fly off the edge of the screen is no cool.

Apple Maps. Only android now uses HERE Maps.
