Welcome to Mavic Pilots!

Thank you all for the advice and encouragement, I already learned so many thing from this forum it really helped me a lot in setting up my air 2 and sc so I think I have come to the right place.

You're welcome sir.

Out of curiosity... are you a veteran of other DJI drones before getting the Air 2? Just wondering why you decided to invest in a smart controller straight away.

$750 seems like a really big investment for a controller, considering the drone is only $800. I know people say that the screen brightness is great... but tbh, I've been surprised by how good my Huawei P20 Pro has been, I've even flown in the sun and I can still see my screen clearly.

I flew first generation phantom 4 for couple of months, my Samsung S2 tend to overheat and screen went dark, recently my Huawei p40 also has the same problem. So I decided on the sc when I got my air 2, after ten flights it is working well so far,

Welcome to the forums - a lot of good info here. So, take a look around and hope you enjoy some of the fine photography and information posted by the members.

Also, if you haven't done so yet, consider getting the AirMap and KittyHawk apps. I also suggest this Visualize it: See FAA UAS Data on a Map

If you joined 10/22/2016 it has taken you a long time to say hello ?:D

Long time indeed, looking back at my airdata and dji log my P4 last flight was on Nov 2017, had 30 plus flights or so, including 2 waypoint missions on Litchi, then it was in cold storage for a long time due to work and commitment, also I have to drive an hour away to a safe spot to fly. The bug returned when I saw an Air 2 in my neighbourhood, impressed with its performance and how quiet it was.
So now I fire up my air 2, hover 7 meters above for a few sec then off it goes, and hardly anyone noticed.
