Hi everyone!
I just got a Mavic.
So far I am impressed with this little beast. So many features, not too many bugs.
I do have issues with DJI Go on Android and DJI assistant 2. But I'm confident it will get better.
I want to use it for aerial shots and generally flying around.
I have always been fascinated with wireless networks and having a 5km+ live digital video+telemetry transmission from an aircraft blows my mind.
I am also a bit of a hacker (hardware/software) and I intend to get root access to the Mavic.
I see people already tried and succeeded. But there is not a lot of documentation out there.
I'm thinking of fun stuff like using the front LED's for Morse code, using text-to-speech with the internal speaker, etc. And more practical stuff like lifting the height restriction.
It looks like DJI had other threads taken offline because they were explaining how to hack the Mavic.
Anyway, I'd be happy to discuss it with you in private.
