Hey Mate, Doing a road trip around the GCC and obviously taking the Mavic with us. When we cross the boarder into Oman in the car, will it be confiscated or as long as it is well hidden then its ok? Appreciate any tips as don't want to have any troubles.. Also its a long road trip so we planned to use it when we can legally use it..

A lot of people I talked to said driving it across was not a problem, but flying was - one guy got his confiscated on the way out, flying.

Hi guys!

We are heading to Oman in a few weeks and I am looking for ways to use a drone. According to this topic, the PACA should make the procedure to apply for a drone permit easier, but I contacted them a few times, without any luck. Does anyone know how the drone permit application procedure works? Any help would be fine.

Alternatively I would not take my drone with me and rent a drone in Oman. @Simms327 can you please tell me where you borrowed your drone? Or can anyone help me with that?
