Mavic Air 2 range issues and app issues.

I have been having some issues lately with the range of the MA2. I live in Phoenix but in the N. Valley where there are not any large buildings or tall trees. I am only getting around a mile before the signal starts cutting out. ( Yes I have spotters in my neighborhood when doing this ). Now, I know going higher will increase signal strength but even if I go up to 300', it doesn't increase much. Also have noticed the arrow indicating AC location relative to me is off.
