Forward speed is reduced by nearly half if you have obstacle avoidance turned on - even with no obstacles.

Thank you for this! Look forward to seeing if it helps with my issue tonight. When I first received the mavic pro (January), I was able to reach 64mph in sport mode. With wind assist of course... no where near that now in sport mode and cruising around 20mph in normal. New props too.

I updated the firmware and got a new Mavic replacement from the factory. It only flies between 4 to 6 MPH. There is no way to turn off the obstacle avoidance in the new download. It makes it so I can't use this drone at 6 MPH. Any help out there?

You can disable obstacle avoidance in the following section of DJI GO:
