Ocala is the self-proclaimed Horse Capital of the World! I'm sure other places will take issue with that. That's another discussion for another time.
Recently retired and bought a Mavic Air 2. I'll be flying to capture aerial photography - for my own enjoyment not for profit. I'm planning to take the test to get the FAA part 107 license. Not because I'll be flying for profit, but because I think it's the right thing to do.
I want to be a knowledgeable, intelligent, responsible, safe pilot. It's like getting a drivers license to drive your car. I see the FAA has some things on the exam that drone pilots probably will never encounter. I'm just glad that the FAA is getting their act together regarding drones.
I've checked out other drone forums and this one looks to be - by far - the best.
