A drone has smashed a window in a building in Sydney and flying glass injured an occupant.

Let me tell you something: I flew a mission that I made on the fly without considering the distance. Conclusion: The drone reached the point where the connection was lost, and at 15% battery it tried to RTH crashing behind some houses into a forest. I was lucky; it could crash in a vehicle, a house or injury a person. I never recovered the drone ($1,800 lesson) and that helps me to remember to use common sense when flying this aircrafts.

Watched one fly away on the discovery channel. It was the gator guys looking for snakes in the Everglades. Found it a mile away, still dry but not functional. Never heard why.

That drone must have been flying at high speed; it's max is 58mph. I wonder how control was lost. I would expect, it wasn't a hobbyist. It's usually pros with 107s that fly those. The cost is high. The cameras cost more than the drone.
