Turning Obstacle Avoidance On/Off while in flight?

Can Obs avoidance be turned on or off while already in flight?

Can Obs avoidance be turned on or off after initiating RTH (assumes radio contact of course)?

you can always switch to sport mode which disables obstacle avoidance.

Of course, but I'm revising how I set up the MP for situations where a RTH may occur. The notion that forward obstacle detection could freeze the drone in place while not in RC is concerning. I can set up so I could bug out to a location to get contact again - that would be hard in some situations, however.
