I picked up the Lexar micro sd card reader. I grab the sd out of the MP and plug into my iPhone 7 Plus. There's an app to go along with it to transfer files/photos/videos back and forth. Small and easy to use.

If your Mavic is lost, the cached video is it's last gift to you. I would keep it, even if it's hard to watch.
