I much prefer Litchi to DJI fly. Very reliable and like the extra features. Yes you can have both concurrently.

DJI talk nonsense, there's a plethora of devices that can run DJI FLY that are not on their approved list. As long as minimum specs are reached. The main one being a 64 bit device. Even then the requirement for a device with decent hardware is simply because of the on device recording that DJI...

Makes no difference. Done that several times. Compass apps work fine. It just doesn't seem a reliable indicator.

I have this same issue with Litchi. It points where it wants. Sometimes it's correct, sometimes it's way off, whether compass is calibrated or not.

You said the FAA own the air space. I don't think that's true either. I would say the FAA control it not own it.

DJI fly isn't your only option. Litchi will work on any device and is a full replacement for DJI fly. I use Litchi exclusively. There is also Rainbow.

It irks me how you can walk around with a camera and take as many photos as you want of whatever you want and nobody bats an eyelid. You put a camera overhead in the air usually at a much greater distance and people kick off. Muppets tbh, do they think the camera has an X-ray lens or...

That suggests to me your tablet isn't running in 64bit. DJIFLY only runs on ARM64 architecture. However Litchi will run on any device and is excellent. Not sure if it will support your intended AC though.
