Haha thanks for trying. Definitely would prefer to not cover the sensors right now. I've been babying this drone ever since I had my P3S. I was very careless with that one
Yeah I am unable to do it even with the sticks, I can understand when using the RTH function but have no luck when using the sticks.
Yeah if you don't mind letting me know I would appreciate it. I will likely fly my MM again tomorrow so ill do some digging and see if I can figure it out...
Just wondering if there is a way to land the MM without the motors stopping immediately following touchdown? Essentially asking if I can do touch and go's with it.
Aside from propeller damage I am not a fan of sport mode either sometimes. Boy does it put a lot of stress on the batteries (as expected) and consistently gives me a low voltage warning (battery is completely fine its just sport mode sucks the life out of them).
I agree but I have received the error in +1. I'm not concerned with the warning but it is something to keep in mind and to be honest, the slight voltage drop is not something to be concerned about. As mentioned earlier old man mavic regarding the ESCs, both of my occurrences happened in Sport...
I understand what you're saying but you have to understand its all relative. If someone says the mavic mini handles wind like a champ, we're basing it on the size of the drone. Its a tiny drone and I explained the winds my drone can handle. End of story, all I am doing is showing that my...
Voltage warning starts when the voltage drops below 3.3 volts and it went down to 3.23 or 3.24. As soon as I release the stick on the controller the voltage spikes back up again so it makes me believe its a weak cell in the battery.
Extremely weird.
Today I flew my MM again and with the same battery and in Sport mode again, I received the low voltage warning when the drone hit 33%. I don't have this issue with any other battery and my earlier suspicion of the temperature being -1 or -2 being a factor on the first incident...
Just the other day I did a range test and I had a buddy who helped me out by being my secondary observer. He was at a nearby road where we exchanged visual contact of the drone. It was fairly windy out so I didn't want to push my luck given on the flight back I had the headwind. I flew out to...
Right as my battery hit 33% at about 21 degrees I got the low voltage warning. I had just finished doing a range test.
NOTE: I just flew with that battery again today and it was 4 degrees out so 5 degrees warmer and I was performing very similar activities with it and did NOT receive the...
Battery temperature was hovering around 21 degrees. I had the batteries in the heated car on the way to where I was flying it. I’m gonna keep an eye on that battery in particular. If it comes up again I may give DJI a call and ask
In Canada, even class E (less restrictive than class D) is considered controlled airspace even if a control service is not provided to aircraft. Now class E doesn't usually start until at least 700 feet AGL so this will never affect a drone operator limited to 400 feet. In Canada the only...
Hi all,
I did a range test today with my Mavic Mini and the temperature outside was -1 degrees celsius (I understand the operating range is 0-40). Battery temp was around 21 degrees celsius and when the battery got down to about 30-35% power left, I had a low voltage warning.
I seem to...
