Another thing to do is turn off the Mini video recording to the Ipad (your videos will still be saved to SD card). This along with closing all apps other than DJI Fly has solved the issues for me.

Just a caution, the Walmart Android tablet does not have a compass or gyro. It does have GPS.

I returned my Walmart tablet today and picked up a mint Mini 2 WiFi plus cellular for 100. Tried it with the mini and LOVE IT. The screen is so sharp and the app scales up nicely. Very happy with the purchase.

Yes, I saw the one on Ebay. They are "reconditioned". I haven't had good luck with reconditioned electronics. YMMV. There are many hardware checking apps in the Playstore. I like "Droid Hardware Info" and "Device Info".

Can you explain "turned off mobile"? There is no setting that I can see in Profile/settings/synch that says "mobile" Do you mean that you turned off the "Auto-synch Flight Records" ? Can you provide a screen shot of what you turned off?
