So I’ve had been able to fly a good distance. I have paid very close attention to my remote signal and have seen it drop by 2 bars at the furthest points. I’m curious how quickly it drops once it starts and if folks have seen it disconnect all together ?

After thinking about it, I see NO GOOD reason to have ANY phone radios on, so now I fly in Airplane Mode. In addition, when mine crapped out both times I immediately hit the RTH on the controller and it started coming back. Once I replugged the phone in and the app reconnected I manually...

I started to have this issue with the stock cable. Since using the USB underneath I’ve had ZERO issues, all latest firmware.

I just received the second gen version of the MavMount. I think it’s perfect. iPad Pro 10.5”. Goggles come Monday but for others trying to look at a phone is almost useless.

4-flights on USB, no issues, convinced that was it.

I ordered also from B.B. with a Tuesday delivery. DJI still shows shipping and no longer allows a refund so assume they are on the way. Whichever gets here first

Definitely part of the plan. The problem is we can’t un-ring a bell, lol. It also is curious to me, that I’m not on home Wifi. While I am well aware a network connection is not required to fly, it is the only other differentiating data point I can think of.
