What firmware version are you on? I've lost connection many times and I don't recall it ever asking me to confirm I wanted to RTH. I'm on .400.

I think this defaults to off when not connected to your Mavic. You would need it connected to see what it was really set at.

I was involved in creating one of these about 15 years ago as part of a team building exercise. It was a lot of fun, leaned some math, oh, and we drank - A LOT!

I started with Premier Pro CC, then moved to DaVinci Resolve. I love Resolve and it does everything I need it to do and more. In fact, I've even picked up a few side jobs color grading other people's commercial videos. I love editing/grading almost as much as flying my Mavic. Almost :-)

Off topic, but how are you charging Mavic batteries way out there? That little solar panel is of little use, no?

If only there was a way to increase the wattage output from the controller ;-) If you are getting decent range from inside your dome with only .4 watts, think what 1.5 watts would get you. By the way, that landing pad on your dome is just too cool.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. I shoot in 4k dlog almost 100% of the time. The sensor is small, so it does not have the dynamic range of some of the high end cinema cameras, but then again, the RED Epic and the Blackmagic URSA can't fly! The only limitation I run into with the Mavic is low-light...

Yep, it sound to me like your battery came loose. The same thing happened to me many months ago and I documented it on this forum. It took a couple of days to find my drone, but we did find it. The fact that my SD card ended the recording at the exact same time I lost connection pushed me in...
