    I don’t see why we can’t digitally zoom on the Mavic 2 Pro. If the drone can shoot in 4K, let it crop and zoom in on the 1080p frame. I know you can do it in post but why not during too? I miss the fake zoom the Mavic 1 had.

    Sphere Pano - # of Shots

    On my Mavic 1, the drone took 34 shots to create a sphere. But the Mavic 2 takes 26. Anyone know why?

    Never flown + 5 week road trip, need advice (lots of it)

    Your first few flights, fly straight up and take pictures and then come down. No need to waste the first few days. Also, swap your SD card out every day in case you lose the drone.

    The Mavic 2 has a “timed photo” mode. Depending on the seconds you set, it will take photos at that interval. It is separate from the hyperlapse mode. This feature is available in other parts of the app, but are not available in the active track mode.

    When I have active track on, I have the option to video record or take individual pictures manually. Is there any work around to have the Mavic take timed photos (every 5 seconds for example) in active track mode? Don’t know why they would remove this photo mode.

    Update: I refreshed the firmware and took the SD card out. Even with internal storage selected, I can not take a photo. Only video. I get a dash through the photo section just like in the video posted.

    Would that affect the internal storage as well? I switched the drone and it still did that.

    I was testing 24fps and 30fps around my house and noticed that 24fps was significantly stuttery on the lower part of the video. Anyone else have that?
