If you do that make sure to turn off rth! Probably turn off most safe landing options also. Do you own a micro whoop? If not maybe look into that. Get one with a dvr. Great for indoor flying and little chance of hurting anything.

Yea, I replaced that one also after the issue. Still there. I'm not all that worried about it now, but if it's the coreboard I bought on eBay I don't have much more time to send it back for another one. So that's why I'm trying to figure out if the board could be causing the problem.

Which cable? I did tap the front a bunch of times to see if it would go away or change and nothing made a difference.

Are you unable to get to it? How deep is the water? How fast is the water moving? As someone who lost and recovered a Mav Pro (7 wks later in 18' of water) you can bring it back if you find it. See attached photo. If anyone wants details on what to do let me know and I will respond on the steps.

Update: New ribbon cable smoked just like the last one. There is a short on the core board. Esc board is good. It turns on, motors spin on turn on, and camera gimbal goes through its normal check. I think a new core board would fix it. They cost $195 on eBay and Amazon. If anyone has a used one...

If you can get another drone you can use the Litchi app. Your flight records show on the bottom exactly where the last know location was. I recovered my Mav pro in 20’ of water 6wks after it went down. It was right where it said it was. Good luck!

@Tesadorn, my question was asking about the power to the main board and if the screws actually do anything. Being some of the screws that hold the two boards to the frame have gold/copper exposed. They definitely are grounds as I have used a meter to check for power and they all act as ground...
