Yeah? We had gale force winds here yesterday, STORM FORCE today, 45kts. Gales for the rest of the weekend +. NSW Australia. will fly in a week or so I suppose.

Welcome to the forum, I’m in Ulladulla so probably not far from you. Recently sold me MA, great unit and got some nice shots from it. I agree with the comment to add the MAS props, made a huge difference in noise. I’m using a M2P now but having trouble finding time to fly.

I carry a set of tweezers. I use them to click in and to also click out and remove the SD Card. Fat fingers with short nails.

You are so right, addictive is a good description. People get funny looks on their faces when my wife and I try to describe the beauty of the Outback, but those that have been just ... know. Going back next year with the caravan, can’t wait.

Yep, I had the same problem. Once you have set your POI just hit the ‘x’ or whatever to get out of the screen.

I totally agree, my long distance vision is excellent but I was sick of carrying reading glasses, losing them, sitting on them, plus a set of sunnies. I bit the bullet, a pair of multi-focal, transition glasses. Not cheap but I hardly know I have them on.

Ouch! Actually that wind turbine looks like it is moving very quickly, also saw a fair amount of tree movement with the wind. Perhaps it was windier than you thought? Maybe you were in a more sheltered area? Hopefully someone can assist you with a better answer.

Before someone brings this up I should mention my previous post refers to magnetic compasses, there other types. Not sure why you have trouble calibrating thiugh. Nothing in your pockets? Phone cover with magnetic clip?

Compasses do not actually point to the north pole. Instead they follow magnetic lines of force, big difference.

Shon, your last statement seems to be the answer. In my case I often go to the local park when there is nobody around and practice any techniques that I’m not sure of before applying them to my vision of what I’m trying to achieve/capture. This includes the camera settings, it is frustrating to...
