It’s worth a message to DJI but as someone has previously said I don’t think they will offer much to be honest. It’s an expensive lesson I’ve learned myself.

DJI have the ability to block drones if they are reported lost or stolen.

This may seem like a really silly question, but how do I go about downloading and installing these apps? I live about 50 miles from an airport but sometimes get the odd small aircraft or even hang glider near by so would be good to see what’s near.

Apologies if this has been asked/posted before. I did search but couldn’t find the answer. If I charge my batteries to 100% and store them, is that harmful to them or not? Sometimes I charge them and the weather can change so don’t end up going out for a flight

I get that , but they had all evidence to suggest a drone error. DJI also have the power to lock drones if they become lost / stolen to prevent fraudulent claims. I just think there are better insurance companies out there that cover loss of drone also and for less money.

I personally wouldn’t bother. My Mavic dropped out the sky randomly into a lake and even with flight logs they deemed it pilot error ??‍♂️. The customer service that I received wasn’t very good at all.

Welcome! Can’t recommend Coverdrone enough. I had a Mavic Air which ended up at the bottom of a lake and they were a pleasure to deal with.

i found the whole refresh care a waste of time to be honest. Like you said, they offered me a replacement drone (refurbished) at a ‘discount’ price. The price they offered was only about £100 off a brand new fly more combo!

£570. So it wasn’t like it was an unrealistic price.

That’s the thing. It’s never been registered as it’s brand new.
