Yup, bought a new computer. Was working to get all the software I used reloaded. Didn't realize they hadn't made the newest version backward compatable. Sounds like they are working to dump support for older models.

Found the solution. Can't use the newest version of DJI Assistant 2. I have to back it off to version V21.20. That works fine. Doesn't matter if I have the VPN going or not. DJI needs to get the new version issue resolved.

Trying to check firmware updates with the DJI Assistant 2 for RC for Mavic Air2. Worked fine for the drone but the app returned an error message for the RC. "Cannot Load Firmware List. Please Retry". Anyone seen that one before? It has always worked flawlessly in the past.

I never had any issues with B4UFly but I live out in the boonies so rarely bump into any restricted flight zones. At the advise of a MP member I installed Air Aware and, while I have never used it away from the house yet, it appears to do about the save thing. Time will tell.

Recently, B4UFly is no longer available on my mobile device. Statement indicates Aloft no longer supports it and the FAA has 4 other companies doing it. Any information on when it will become available or what app will replace it?

You are correct. Logged onto DJI to look and only found they offered update via DJI app or DJI Assistant 2. Not sure why that is different overseas but do not have experience with that. I agree that a manually download and install would be good.

I connected my AM2 to my computer with a USB cable and opened the DJI assistant app. It recognized that there was a newer version of update out there at DJI, downloaded it and installed it successfully. I noted that it would always process through your phone if you use that to fly the AM2.

I also bought a economy drone just to see if I was into it. I then bought a air mavic 2 and have enjoyed it. A world of difference over the cheap one. Next step is to travel more so I can use it in morw interesting nature places.

Today I fully charged all three batteries and then let the drone hover indoors until it ran through all 3 batteries. Low battery warning on all 3 batteries at 15% as normal. Canceled auto landing. All 3 then flew until 10% and then landed normally. Now I'm confused. DJI said the drone/...

Which app and where in that app would that be an option? I have DJIFly and can see the Battery Info screen but do not see where to review the battery warning settings.

The batteries on my MA2 have always given me the "return to home point / low battery" alert at about 15%. Didn't really matter how far out I was. That was always plenty to either manually or automatically return to home. Today on 2 different batteries the alert came across the screen at 30%...

I think what threw me is that the drone had navigated fairly easily around lesser obstacles successfully. It had tracked me fairly well. It slowed down to work its way through and around previous branches with no problem and then would speed up to catch up. Then it just ran straight into the...

Lol ... excellent responses. All I can say is "now ya tell me". Had MA2 in active track with OA enabled and wanted it to follow me on bike down off road path in the trees. Worked well through first few obstacles then decided it had had enough and tried to eat its way through tree branches...

OK, that is what I was wanting to know. The blades really only have some discoloration blemishes and one or two nicks that I have to find with my finger to actually locate. I bought the fly more combo package so I have the blades. Might as well use them. Little by little, learning as I go.

Is it worth replacing the blades if they only have a few scraps and a minor nick or two? I have replacement blades and haven't noticed any issues with the used ones. Didn't know if there were any justifiable reasons to replace blades that I wasn't aware of.
