Another tip I found invaluable: if you get mixed up, lost, scared, anything...just let go of the sticks. These drones will hover (unlike helos and FPV drones). That will let you step back and figure out the next safe step in your flight.
My apologies for seeming quick. Thank you for adding in. All the answers point towards what I suspected but never had need to test myself. I'll be flying in a few hours and will follow the advice given to test it.
Thank you!
I was asked this question today and didn't have an answer I was certain of. Not being able to fly and test it myself, I turned here. I have yet to have a question go unanswered on this forum. Thank you both, it is appreciated.
I'm not in the field to test this myself.
Does landing the Mini automatically update the home point to where it landed? If it does, is there a setting to prevent this?
So recreational flights are capped at 400ft agl, and this section does not apply?
(2) Does not fly higher than 400 feet above the structure's immediate uppermost limit.
Exactly this. When law enforcement is involved they are not spending their time to validate your doing something correctly. They are involved to prove your doing something illegal. If your assistance is needed to convict yourself they will ask for it.

This is a link to a KDKA Pittsburgh news station report from today 5-29-21, location: Ross Park Mall, pgh PA. I am presently under the understanding that flying over police activity is not allowed, 107 or otherwise. What is the correct rule to follow for this?
