    Jello effect can you help?

Well that is a good demo. Now... are you just going to live with it or send for repairs? Someone mentioned about replacing the little rubber bands that attach to the mounting plate. Mine are all intact - but are a bit stretchy. Anyone got a story to tell re that? is that worthwhile...

9 Months of travelling: this the best of it.

Yeah - I can see you know what you are doing! Better progression of the story and the cuts are timed a lot better. Thought the jump cut was good. Not so keen on the glitchy rapid cuts.. some of which were bordering on subliminal messaging (the boat at 30 seconds really jarred)! **** that...

9 Months of travelling: this the best of it.

No offense - I am no expert! I LOVE your shots - really cinematic looking. Great eye for what is aesthetically pleasing. Music choice is nice and appropriate. To me though - cutting to music as you have done... you have to get the clip lengths perfect. There are 4 or 5 bits in there where I...

Wow - great shots. Editing could have been tighter.,.. but awesome memento of your trip. Very jealous of the locations you have seen!

    Jello effect can you help?

Hi gilby. I really appreciate you posting. I was skeptical - but sure enough... with my NDs on there is no shake in a 5 minute flight test. WTF? I was trying to take photos so had the ND off. This raises so many questions though! Why has my gimbal started doing this? Is it a sign of...

    Jello effect can you help?

Sorry - another jello thread! I have had my mavic working faultlessly for months. Never crashed / landed hard. Has been sitting in case for 6 weeks or so - gimbal clamp on. Trying flights today - I see that I now have that horrible jello/ shaking effect. Looking at other threads i can't...

    Scottish Highlands - 2017

Cheers - just learning myself. colour correction is a pain and i have a long way to go myself. Loads of good tutorials out there though. Less is more in my opinion. The mavic is pretty super saturated and overly warm by default - especially if you use the cloudy colour balance.

    Scottish Highlands - 2017

Great edit m8. If you are happy for cc though... The colours are way off in a lot of those shots. I like a saturated image myself - but you have over cooked some of these. Just my personal opinion... i live here and the grass is NOT that green :o) Worst for me was an overhead shot with a...

    Surfing at Raglan, NZ

Wow - what a wave. i remember trying to surf it years ago and just exhausting myself trying to paddle out through the current and white water. Would give anything to get one of those long rides here!

Epic extinct volcano flight in Australia

Nice shot picks/ editing and what a great subject. Looks like a good path up it - must still be climbed a fair bit? Would be awesome to film someone mountain biking down that path at speed - though I guess that won't be on the cards given the history of it.

My first experience with Neat Video

I like neat video too. But no way would I have used it on footage this bright. Was it really that noisy? Colours and contrast look good though.

    editing in premiere looks terrible

It doesn't use proxies by default though - you need to decide to do a proxy workflow. OP - premiere renders 4k amazingly - I usually edit it native in the editor as it handles it really well on my medium spec computer. Couple of things come to mind.... what kind of timeline are you using...
