Finding it difficult to legally fly my drone

It's funny. Far more likely that a cyclist or a walker will fall and hit a pedestrian or member of staff along 2 dimensional sometimes specific paths than a drone which flies over inaccessible terrain.

    Hyperlapse

Silly question but are you actually flying during hyper? How long do you record in real time flying for actual footage time? Must be restricted to battery.

Entered the US but no one at security customs immigration or passport control knew anything about drone registration

Only had the mavic from second hand for a couple of months so running it in before flying to much over water... Not an easy task in Florida!

Fabulous response, thanks all it was not clear (to me at least) if registration needed to be done online or in a different way. Now need to figure out the last part! 'Pass an aeronautical knowledge and safety test'

That's what I mean Visiting foreign nationals must register their drone or UAS upon arrival in the United States (online registration serves as a certificate of ownership). Read more about Information for Foreign UAS Operators in the United States.

Just landed in Detroit on transit to Florida and informed security and customs that I may need to register my recreational drone as per faa regulations but they didn't know anything. Any ideas if I actually need to register my mavic to fly or not?

Low battery which should I use Tripod or S ?

I read I read an article some time ago on aerodynamic flow showing that a drone moving horizontally up to a certain point was more efficient than hovering due to some fluid dynamics. Has anyone experienced this in real world situations?

Triple Blade Propeller Vs. DJI Stock Double Blade Prop | (( MAVIC 2 ) PRO & ZOOM )

For future reference to all, the more blades the less the aerodynamic efficiency. In theory one blade would be the most efficient but is not balanced. A 2 blade pro will therefore provide the most efficiency. More blades, as you normally see in racing drones, will give a fractional increase in...

Looks great! Did you have any issues with regulations to fly?

Cover ban not allowed to fly in the New Forest in the UK and ability to enforce such a rule.

Ignore me, seen the link! I also so the note this morning about fpv use. Very sensible and not just a blanket no which is reassuring to see that decisions seem to be made rationally and with thought.

Cover ban not allowed to fly in the New Forest in the UK and ability to enforce such a rule.

Thanks for this, do you have a link for us to review? Assuming they still kept the lower 250g limit to not requiring certification?

Thanks zocalo, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for November as well. If it's easier to some degree to fly in the US then something is wrong lol! It seems a case of let's just say no because we don't know what we're dealing or talking about. When it comes to being sensible and effect on...
