Yes, the video on the SD is "normal". Only the version that is streamed to the phone is sped up.

It's odd to me that they would release a model with the old components after releasing a model with upgraded components. I could see it if the new model at least had the upgraded ESCs. That's an issue with your car, not DJI. Many cars leave the socket live with the ignition off.

If it's a hardware change, and the old part / new part (square wave / sine wave ESCs) are completely interchangeable and don't require different firmwares, I don't see why there would be any mention in a firmware log. Logically, the ESC would receive an input signal to tell it what speed to run...

It's not supposed to. With Dynamic Home Point, it periodically updates to the position of the aircraft. You have to use Home Point Me to get it to update to the position of the RC. It's the top right button in the screenshot Timmy provided. ABOVE the dynamic home point function.

I think you are talking about two different things. Timmy is talking about the home point "me" function, and everything I've seen DJI publish about that feature does say it should return back to the point of the RC. It sounds like you are talking about either Dynamic Home Point, or the manual...

If you're just taking stills, why the filters? Seems to me you'd want as much light as possible on the sensor. Unless you're also shooting video, and it's just a matter of convenience.

It's strange that you're getting less of a difference than all the other tests I've seen with sound meters. Did you use A-weighting, or C-weighting? Your meters were blurred in all the shots.

I'm new at this, and the simultaneous adjustments of both sticks and the gimbal while keeping the subject centered, and panning, rotating, and changing elevation smoothly, are not easy. I understand that will get better with experience, but frankly, I think Quickshots produces a better result...
