Takes about 5 minutes, very simple to do there are videos on youtube on how to to do it.

Try flying your drone with the sticks removed, works great very smooth, I fly that way all the the time, much smoother movements. Don't knock it till you try it.

Using the correct ND filter will help. Fixed wing pilots have the issues, see video how we solve that problem.
