Treasure Island is also a good place to fly.

No helicopter traffic at all. You can fly over Tiburon, just not over schools. B4UFLY app show it is not restricted airspace.

I had the same issue. Previous flight about 15 mins earlier at the same location had no issues. Wifi was on auto. Could’ve been strong interference I don’t know. Will check wifi channel from now on before each flight.

I don’t have the gradient filters yet. I guess having them is just an addition to your arsenal of filters. You would not use them all the time as they are only for horizon shots.

Yes Polar Pro makes gradient ND filters for the MA. There are markers that will indicate the horizon line. I’ve watched a few vids on this but just wanted actual hands on experience from people who have used them. From what I’ve learned, they are good if the shots are 50/50 horizon and ground...

Went down to 95% and took about 20 mins to get it back to 100%. I already have 4 batteries. Don’t need to spend another $80 for a 5th one.

Who would be stupid enough to fly while connected to a wall socket? I still think it has advantages. Today I was in a hurry to leave and had already charged all 4 batteries. But I wanted to change last minute settings just before I left so I won’t have to while at launch site. I had to use one...

Thanks Doppler. Will try resetting the RC if it ever happens again. Any thoughts what might have caused it? Probably wifi interference? If so, wondering why it didn’t reconnect as it got closer to the RC.

Let’s stay on the OP. The question is if there is anyway to lock the wifi channel on 5.8 GHz. I saw only 1 answer relating to the OP and it looks that there is no way. Is that correct?

Tried this yesterday but every time I put my hand below the quad it moves up and won’t come down even with the stick down the entire time. I realize I can use auto land as it will turn off OA. So I guess the only way to hand catch is with OA turned off?
