What are the (dis)advantages of 700 compared to 400?

@Crypto - I have done the tests with LiIons on the Phantom, the Mavic and the Inspire. Otherwise I wouldn't write about them :) They perform worse than LiPOs, as I wrote, because of the voltage difference.

The best ones at the moment are 3000 or 4000 LiHV Multistar ones (Hobbyking), used as a single battery.

@flyNfrank AFAIK the Takyons cannot be used with any DJI consumer drones, including Mavic, Inspire and Phantom.

I have tested Li-Ion from Awesome custom Li-ion packs for long FPV flights - RC Groups on both Phantom and Inspire. And unfortunately, it's not working well, as there is no way to reprogram the ESCs. Li-Ion batteries go much lower than 3.50/3.20V or so, but the DJI bird doesn't see this. It just...

How many minutes are you getting @jkantiques I can't get more than 32 mins in good conditions with a battery mod. But temps are not very high here.

Are you sure? Worked fine on mine, I can enable and disable OA whenever I want.
