It happens in flight a few hundred feet up but nowhere near magnetic interference because most flights are in the country. However, I often take off near my RV so I will try some different take off locations to rule that out.

What you describe with your first experience is what I am having on every flight with my drone. Was their any solution?

This is still happening every flight. Last flight I switched to dji4 app while it was stuck in the system warning error and it said "Compass calibration error." After another minute or so it went back to gps and flew fine. I've calibrated several times and it continues to happen every flight.

I have the alpine white version of the MP and almost every flight at some point the drone drifts out of control and gives a system warning check app whole flying using Litchi. The controller still works with the drone in atti mode but it flies erratically. I stay calm and it eventually voes back...

What fell was a limb. He brought the drone down safely in a bag. The rope was for rappelling back down.

Went back to the stock card 16gb Sandisk UHS3 and it seems to have solved a the choppy video problem I was having. However, while recording this card randomly stops recording so I may need to try a new card (thanks for the list) and see if that fixes the premature recording stops.

Thanks for both of those suggestions. The Loc8tor is closer to a beacon price but worth consideration. Also, I like the reflective tape idea and I had that same thought a few days ago, to help find it in a tree or somewhere in the brush. I'll probably do that too, but it won't help if it goes...

I was out flying today and had the same problems in Litchi. I would switch to AFC in FPV mode and then open up setting again and it would be switched back. The, I did it again and it didn't stay in AFC. The third time stuck in AFC finally, so I'm not sure what the pattern is to lock into AFC...

Same problem here, smart TV won't read the bigger card but did fine with the smaller stock card. If anyone comes up with a solution let me know because I would really like to pop the bigger card onto my 4K TV to watch video right away.

I had it happen on a Litchi mission where it was crawling at 6 MPH instead it 19. I wasn't sure what to do to force it to get to the next waypoint so I bailed. Can I just manually turn it away from the sun and it will complete the mission?
