I refuse to update unless I absolutely have to. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Unproven updates can cause more harm than good sometimes.

Nope. Mine is fine. That being said. I refuse to update the SC. Both my zoom and controller work fine. As with any DJI I’ve ever owned. I stop updating once I get a setup that works fine. I’m betting it’s something to do with an update. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

For the record my m2z did the same thing. Calibrated imu and it’s much better.

I don’t have the mp1 to compare, but do own the phantom 4 pro, spark, and the mavic 2 zoom. The zoom seems to need or request calibration MUCH more frequently than my other drones. At least as frequent as you mentioned.

I had the phantom 4 pro for “better stills” etc because of its superior camera. But I’m not a professional photographer nor a videographer. I’ve since bought a mavic 2 zoom. And LOVE it. Didn’t think I would use the zoom functionality but it’s awesome. And I use it every flight. Takes plenty...

Hmm, I have a 128g card in my zoom with SC and sometimes there is no image on screen until I reboot a time or two. Going to switch it out for a 64g and see if that issue goes away.

After calibration it sometimes goes away or sometimes pops back up. Usually, as soon as I touch the unit the message clears.

Red letters "IMU needs calibration". Then as soon as I move the drone or pick it up, it goes away.

I went from flying my p4p and spark with iPad mini to the m2z w/SC. All I can say is my only gripe is the lack of backwards compatibility. Absolutely love flying my zoom with the SC. Perfect setup in my opinion. No regrets at all.

Just got my SC in the mail. Plugged it up to the dedicated wall charger over almost 2 hours ago. Charging/battery level lights running up to 4. Do they turn off when fully charged? And is it normal to take 2+ hours to charge this thing!?
