Have you tried your local RC Model Club? They normally have a wealth of information regarding flying locations, plus some arrange outings to prime locations for flying and photography. If you don’t know already be warned that some RC Model Aircraft pilots look down thief noses at drone flyers...

I am not defending the drone pilot but how do we know the helicopter didn’t fly in the location of the drone. Automatically the drone pilot is blamed. Do helicopter instructors have to fly in specific areas and if so do they have to register flight plans or can they fly were they want?

I am sure DJI are marketing between the spark and Mavic Pro, and it looks to be a great craft for those getting in to aerial video and photography for the first time. I believe the next generation of the Pro will be worth waiting for and will save my money to upgrade rather than downgrade...
