I'm not sure what the correct term for the function is called, but the telemetry monitor at the bottom of my screen has disappeared where it used to show me the location of my drone relative to the RC by displaying a little dot that moved from left to right, etc. Is this something DJI removed...
Range and noise. I had an MA1 originally and was lucky if I was able to go 1000ft before losing signal and RTH kicking in. At the same location (the beach), I have gone 6000ft (over the ocean) with full signal on the meter. I only come back because I don't care for the drone being that far away...
Agreed. I live at the coast and fly my drone over the ocean literally 99% of the time. I have a personal 30ft "hard deck" that I keep the drone above and I've never had any issues (knock on wood). Conversely, I didn't drop a $1000 bucks on a drone without knowing that I could lose it at any...
Just an update to anyone who was interested or kind enough to respond to my post. After downloading a previous version of the GoFly app and reverting back to v1.1.10, I flew for a whole battery flight time today and did not experience a signal frozen or pixelated video issue at all. Seemed to do...
So I did some research on how to download previous version of the GoFly app and I found a website called APKmirror.com. I searched for DJI and found previous version of the app. Seem safe and legit. I went back to v1.1.10. It seems as though the issue started after the most recent updates. I'll...

I appreciate that, but I don't think it's the cable or loss of signal because the drone is only a few hundred feet away. Occusync should be able to 1000's of feet before issues, and I have full bars on the signal strength when it happens too.
Samsung Galaxy s9 Plus phone. The same device I've used with it since Day 1. I was one of the first purchasers of the MA2 back when it was released in May and the drone is definitely a first generation unit as it was deliver to me within 2 weeks or so of the official release date.
Hello fellow pilots. During my last couple of flights I've started getting pixelated and frozen video transmission between the aircraft and the controller. It happens a few minutes after takeoff regardless of distance (even within a couple hundred feet). It's taking the fun out of my flying...
I mentioned that I am old school and remember when batteries would develop a "memory" when constantly being recharged at a certain point. The batteries would "think" that 20% was the low threshold (back in the day). I like to charge them all the way down to ensure a full cycle on the battery cell.
I know the MA batteries are "intelligent", but I'm old school and remember when batteries would develop "memories" if you recharged them a lot prematurely. I'm finding that using the last 20% of battery to charge up my phone with the adaptor is a pretty cool way to drain the battery all the way...
