The gimbal kept dropping down during the test flight and it had scratches on the rear mount upon inspection. This might not save you from scratches, but will at least make your maiden flight more enjoyable.
I've settled for now on the Huawei MediaPad T3 10 9.6", with 3gb ram for $250.
If I have problems with it, I can return it no questions asked within 30 days.
I fixed it by alternating between the DJI assistant and the GO 4 app a bunch of times and rebooting the rc and drone 10+ more times. I don't understand why the RC has micro usb and requires an adapter, while the drone has USB C? It seems like a bizarre choice.
Anyhow, I'm glad to have everything...
I just got my mavic 2 pro today and can't seem to update it.
I have tried the Go 4 app with android and DJI assistant, but I am unable to update the RC nor the drone. On the Go4 app it says connection failed and on the PC assistant it says update successful, but when I plug the RC in again it...

Does anyone have a recommendation for an android tablet that works with the newest DJI go app and doesn't break the bank?
Preferably not bigger than 8".
Input is greatly appreciated!
I'm not saying there is, but one could come to the conclusion judging by the posts that are allowed there.
In these days, online presence is crucial for companies and shouldn't be ignored.
Hi. I'm sorry to start my stay here on a negative note, but I think this is an issue that affects all of us. While eagerly awaiting my mavic 2 pro, I've been browsing the DJI forums to learn all I can. I was shocked to find out that it is a cesspool filled with personal attacks and vitriol.
