Has any mavic owners had their horizon tilt conclusively fixed?

I've seen this happening with my Mavic as well, have always had it since .700 firmware of over a year ago. Updated it to the latest firmware and still happening. I am afraid this is one of the weaknesses of the Mavic, the gimbal just isn't capable of coping with these manouevres.

    order of switching on

I always turn on my remote first, than turn on the Mavic. While it is connecting and searching for satellites, I put my iPad in the remote and open the DJI go app. It just kicks in as soon as there is a connection. Just like in the old days, first the remote, than the aircraft. It might not...

    It's maybe just me?

I've been in this thread in september last year as well, and still on the same firmware with my Mavic (.400) ever since. I have connected my iPad to the internet regurarly to cache the map before flying. Every once in a while it gives me a slider option telling me inconsistent firmware has been...

    Skins for Mavic.

By the looks of it, that must be a Dronewrap... But somehow I can't find that exact color.

Mavic pro battery 1 green light flashing on charge

Have a look at the manual, at the Battery Protection LED Display section. I assume you mean LED4 is blinking. Depending on whether it blinks twice or three times a second, it means the charging temperature is either too low or too high. Does this ring a bell?

    iPad mini 4

Neither have I! I have used my iPad mini 4 with my Mavic since the beginning (10 flight hours so far). Used it directly into the remote clamp and used a tablet holder. Both ways home button on the left. Only time I had a stick error for a split second was when my iPad cover with a magnet in it...

    Night traffic photos

No editting at all! This is the pure JPEG as it is produced by the Mavic. ISO at 100, 3" shuttertime, whitebalance was at auto or 7800k, don't remember... I am quite impressed with the Mavic it's own processing as well!

Quick opinion on MP case preference?

I changed my mind (and my vote) regarding transporting my Mavic. I just bought the Fly More bag after seeing some pictures and videos in which I saw that it could hold anything I need for pure flying. I will still use my hardcase for rough transports or when it just needs more protection...

    Hand catching vs. Landing

I don't think all the techniques described above are wrong, it's jus that everyone has their own preferences. However I do agree with you about just turning off landing protection. I leave it off permanently, don't think it is very useful anyway. Instead of landing it on my palm, I do grab it...

    Night traffic photos

I actually tried this for the first time yesterday. Was flying around sunset and noticed the shuttertime getting longer quite rapidly. Took this picture with 3 seconds shuttertime, ISO 100. It's the JPEG the Mavic produces. It wasn't very dark yet, but you can see the lights as lines down the...

    iPad Mini 3 or 4?

I bought my Mavic from someone who had flown only a few times with it, he sold me an iPad mini 4 as well. It's the 16GB version with WiFi and cellular, so I can use the GPS. He bought it from someone else, so I am the third user. No idea how much it has been used, but battery life is still...

Quick opinion on MP case preference?

Thanks for the effort! I think I'll purchase the bag as well, for the short easy trips which don't need the rugged hardcase.
