I have a mavic air . will this fit a one of the arms ? with more weight than others will it affect flight ? if mounted on top can you readily see the strobe from front and rear view from the ground ?

Hi, just got into drones , turned 73. Got a mavic air and it is perfect.

Flew my air last week near folsom lake, we live in the foothils. Also go,d prospecting is my hobby and i hike along a river where no people are and find a little gold. Also working on my newly bought 92 jeep wrangler. keep healthy and better days will come !

I built this equip holding board and if turned over you can takeoff or land. I saw a product for sale similar to this for sale on the forum. Not perfect but it works. Still practicing the landing .

We just got a back from a 3 week rv trip to the Tetons, Yellowstone, two lava bed parks, grand cooly dam and burney falls in calif. It also rained a lot of the days. Did not get hardly any good video because of no drone fly zones. A prominent drone sign was posted at the falls.

Thanks for the input. I know that you can not fly in the parks or monuments.

Has anyone taken any videos just outside the park ? We are going from the Tetons to s. Entrance and the out the west entrance.

Going to the same area in a week, I will post my drone vids when we get back. There should be lots to see on the way to the parks.

Fun video ! Before I had my air we explored the area around Mina and luning Nv. Lots to see in the mountains around Marietta also. Going back next year to explore with the air.

Loaded at lower resolution, a little grainy

I am a air owner and belong to a metal detecting club also. Good info to know as I did photo the group from a distance. The beginners are swinging their detectors way to fast.

I flew with extenders in about 6 times with no Problems and then a flip over on takeoff. Will try again flying at home this week.

Recently flew the air at eagle lake ca. With leg extenders on as usual. Previous flights with extenders went fine. At the lake on shore on landing pad the drone upon takeoff flipped over on its side. Took extenders off any no more problems. Did this flip over three times then Took them off...
