Hey people, I figured out the reason. It is something to do with the imu. It will drift up and down if u don’t calibrate the imu. As soon as I do, the problem stops! Thanks all for helping me??

Yeah, if it just says disconnected, u need a new cord

One thing that it does say is ‘ calibrate the vision sensors in the DJI Assistant 2 ‘ surely it isn’t using those sensors at that height

I own the Mavic Air and use it recreationally sometimes. Every now and then I will take it out for a few good shots. When I’m out of range on the bottom altitude sensors the drone drifts! It starts by going up at 0.1 m/s then I think it compensates 0.2 m/s down. I get very worried as it can go...

I t i tried once on a MacBook Pro and on an Acer running wndws 10. I tried a couple times last week

Also having a similar issue. My MA needs a vision position system update. But I cannot download DJI ASSISTANT 2. Very annoying that my windows laptop cannot download. Feels safer without a warning on the iPad all the time. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, MR MAC

I just got a mavic air. Do I need cellular data to get gps for the whole flight or could I just use wifi at the start then go out of range? At my house there is no cellular service but we do have wifi. Could I then set up the navigation system and go out of ALL internet range to fly with the gps.
